Rani Espanioly
Originally from Nazareth, Israel, Rani is an Arab believer who is dedicated to helping the church live like Christ in tumultuous times. Rani teaches with warmth, humor, and directness, challenging the church to step towards our refugee neighbors with greater understanding. Rani is a powerful advocate for love that is real, demonstrated in ways that are appropriate and meaningful. Learn to engage with refugees in a way that honors the individual's boundaries, dignity, and intellect as you serve.

Serving Communities who have Lived Through War and Violence
Nasser Al'Qahtani
Nasser brings gentleness, depth of insight, and profound credibility in speaking into a difficult topic - what it looks like to be imitators of Christ when we serve communities who have experienced pain and trauma. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Nasser now serves individuals in the US and in many locations abroad where there is war, unrest, and violence. Accredited by multiple trauma therapists, Nasser's perspective is a needed message to the church about love that has awareness and discernment.
Finding Refuge
Osman Jama
Born in Somalia, Osman came to the US as a refugee, following a time of harrowing devastation among his people. In Osman's life, this was made all the more personal when members of his immediate family lost their lives in the violence and attempt to flee. In 2007, Osman found the hope of Christ. He has since served as a leader in helping the church engage with immigrant communities, with an emphasis on serving individuals who come from high-risk locations. Osman's testimony offers a poignant image of loss, redemption, endurance, and grace.

Safeeya
Safeeya came to the US as war erupted in her country, suddenly finding herself thousands of miles away from her culture, community, and the life that she once knew. Having experienced deep isolation, grief, and loneliness, Safeeya is now dedicated to helping Christians move from fear to love and compassion in their approach to Muslims and other refugee communitie, so that they too can love as Christ does. Safeeya's ministry offers Christian women a profound opportunity to step beyond stigma and stereotype, and see refugee women with new eyes.
Cross-cultural Friendship - Taking Meaningful Steps Towards Individuals who have been Displaced
Ali
Ali came to the US as a refugee from Iran following the Khomeini revolution. Having lived the experience of displacement due to violence and state sanctioned crimes against humanity, Ali offers a powerful message to the church today, teaching us how to live out the vital words of Jesus as we come alongside individuals who are walking where he once walked. Hear Ali's story, and grow in gratitude to the God who sees us.

"What about those who are still living in locations of violence?" Aaron is a leader in an initiative that helps believers in open locations reach out online to communities still living in war, violence, and displacement. Through sharing stories and meaningful data and statistics, Aaron and Samir help churches in the US understand the realities of our neighbors in high-distress places, and share how to be a part of bringing a message of hope to individuals who live in our own streets, and to those around the world.

Originally from Egypt, Samir has helped hundreds of American believers learn to engage with love and respect as they respond to essential questions that individuals ask regarding topics of faith, hope, peace, and the message of Jesus.
